In just over a year, Brendan Seth has gone from stepping into the world of IT support to leading the very team he once joined. His promotion to IT Support Team Leader at SNS Tech marks a significant milestone, not just in his career, but in the culture of growth and mentorship that defines the company.
“Personally, this journey has been both unexpected and incredibly uplifting,” Brendan shares. “Professionally, it’s been a story of growth. To be entrusted with a leadership role from where I started is a significant milestone.”
Brendan joined SNS Tech in April 2024, with limited technical experience. What he lacked in background, he made up for in attitude, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. Over time, he became a reliable presence in the IT department, even stepping up to lead during the absence of his supervisor.
“One of my biggest challenges was holding down the IT department for a week or two during Boe’s absence. It was intense, but with the team’s support and by staying focused, I managed to overcome it.”
Now, as Team Leader, Brendan is excited to take on new responsibilities, especially leading a client Digital Transformation project, a goal that reflects both his technical growth and his leadership potential.
Brendan credits much of his development to the supportive culture at SNS Tech.
“The work culture here is second to none. Our CEO, Samson Korawali, is a true legend. That’s one of the things I love most about working here,” he shares.
Client-facing is another area where Brendan thrives. While some may find it stressful, he finds absolute joy in solving problems and seeing the satisfaction on clients’ faces.
His inspiration? A mix of passion and personal legacy.
“My initial inspiration came from a love for computers. But more recently, it’s been my late dad who’s kept that dream alive. He played a big role in shaping my journey.”
Brendan’s advice to newcomers in tech is simple but powerful:
“It’s okay to say, ‘I don’t know.’ As Samson often says, ‘Knowledge is a commodity.’ What matters most is having the right attitude.”
Outside of work, Brendan reveals a fun side that might surprise his colleagues.:
“I’m usually quiet in the office, but a completely different person on the volleyball court! Also, I like to think I look younger than my age, especially since a few team members are actually younger than me,” he laughs.
When asked to describe his leadership style, Brendan chooses three words: humility, teamwork, and sacrifice. His vision for the role is clear, he wants to empower others just as he was empowered.
“I hope to make a meaningful impact by sharing what I’ve learned, instilling confidence in others, and helping them grow into leaders themselves.”
Brendan’s journey is proof of what’s possible when talent meets opportunity, and when leadership is built on trust, support, and a genuine desire to grow.
