Objectives of the Role: As a Business Development Specialist at SNS Tech, your primary objective is to expand the company’s national reach by expertly discovering and exploring new, untapped business opportunities and relationships. You’ll take the lead in identifying target markets and industries where SNS Tech’s services can make a transformative impact, leveraging your strong sales and business operations skills to drive growth. Through proactive networking and relationship building, you’ll establish and nurture connections with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders, showcasing how SNS Tech’s technological solutions can revolutionize PNG businesses. Your role involves not only seizing opportunities but also inspiring and leading a team of like-minded go-getters to achieve the company’s vision, driving forward SNS Tech’s mission to revolutionize the technological landscape in Papua New Guinea. 

• Create and manage the sales pipeline by identifying trends, customer needs, and new market opportunities. 
• Develop and implement overarching sales strategies, processes, and best practices. 
• Close new business deals through proposal development, negotiation, and contract integration. 
• Maintain proficiency in technical jargon, product knowledge, and market trends to effectively engage with clients. 
• Collaborate in devising and implementing marketing strategies, ensuring they align with strategic objectives, and delegate tasks to achieve goals. 
• Strategize and oversee the implementation of new marketing initiatives to expand the customer base. 
• Address inquiries promptly and drive sales opportunities through prospective clients, ensuring a seamless customer experience.  
• Collaborate with Digital Marketing team for social media, advertisements, email marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility and engagement with potential clients. 
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers, fostering loyalty, and increasing customer value. 
• Generate leads, qualify prospects, and lead the sales pitch process. 
• Motivate and coach the sales team, analysing performance and reporting key metrics. 
• Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople. 
• Assist in marketing strategy implementation and delegate tasks for strategic goals. 
• Maintain and share industry knowledge through ongoing learning and networking. 
• Utilize CRM software to track customers and manage sales funnels. 
• Coordinate social media platforms and attend to customer inquiries. 
• Focus on enhancing the value derived from existing customers while concurrently attracting new ones. 

• Tertiary qualifications in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or similar field. 
• 3+ years of experience in B2B sales and business development. 
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth. 
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. 
• Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. 
• Experience with sales methodologies and CRM software (HubSpot, Monday.com etc.) preferred. 
• Ability to use social media platforms and Office 365 applications.
