Some challenges we faced prior were slow internet speed, cumbersome data filing/storage system that worked intermittently, a non-existent File sharing system, and no interconnectivity. Business has improved since. Internal and external connectivity is exceptional, connectivity with offshore partners is exceptional and data transfers and receipt have seen a marked improvement. The bonus for me with the digital transformation exercise was Video Conferencing Tools as well as the Cloud Storage facility. The potential to further streamline our workflow processes is there, as we assimilate into the digital tools before us going forward.

The website plays a major role in our organisation 'CEFI'; the website goes a long way in promoting our Financial Inclusion work in the country. The website is also an important platform for CEFI to actively engage with our stakeholders and community with our financial inclusion work. It's a great platform also to educate and inform the country about financial inclusion with our knowledge products, projects, training and publications. I found the web support training to be very educational and informative. It was a refresher for me because I dealt with website management with my previous employers and this was a very good opportunity to go through a similar kind of training and bring myself up to speed again. The training will definitely help me and my team understand the website better and make our respective jobs a lot more efficient.

Having a website is part of building our image as a reputable company. Also our customers are able to find information online conveniently from our website i.e. the kind of products we make, the price, etc. They are also able to ask questions through our contact page, they can generate their own quotations online and make payment using their VISA Debit and Credit Cards. The payment portal is especially convenient for international customers who can place and pay for their orders conveniently without having to send international bank transfers or Western Union payments. Having our own domain was a wonderful thing to know as well, and from that we were able to have the email address connected with the domain (orders@tapiocadelightpng.com). When we didn't have the IPG, it was really inconvenient having to receive international payment by Western Union. We had to stand in long queues at the Post Office, and sometimes they would reach their cash limits and we wouldn't be able to receive our payments until the next day. The website now makes it so much more convenient at our end to receive payments. It's convenient for our international customers for the reasons mentioned.
