SNS Tech Signs Terms of Reference to Redevelop Office of Censorship Website

SNS Tech has formally signed the Terms of Reference (TOR) with the Office of Censorship, to lead the redevelopment of the Office’s official website. The signing ceremony took place yesterday, marking the start of a project that sits at the centre of the Office’s Digital Transformation and Modernisation Program.

The engagement sets out a broad scope of work covering corporate website redevelopment, digital services, content migration, standard chatbot implementation, testing and quality assurance, administrator training, production deployment, and full project handover.

A Platform Built for Public Trust

The Office of Censorship plays a defined regulatory role in Papua New Guinea, and its online presence needs to reflect that responsibility. A government website is often the first point of contact between an agency and the citizens it serves, and for a censorship body, that first impression carries real weight around transparency, accessibility and public confidence.

SNS Tech will deliver a secure, accessible and user-friendly platform that improves how the Office shares information and delivers services to the public and its stakeholders. Beyond a visual refresh, the project is about strengthening the digital infrastructure behind a government function that touches media, content standards and community protection.
