FODE trainers.
Digital confidence.

A Training of Trainers programme bringing Reelae LMS and Microsoft 365 into practical education workflows in Papua New Guinea.

Training people who can train others.

FODE coordinators and assistant coordinators need practical digital skills they can take back to their provincial centres. The Training of Trainers programme combined Reelae LMS with Microsoft 365, connecting teaching delivery with everyday collaboration and content management.

Across four days, participants moved from guided practice to realistic teaching simulations. SNS Tech’s Microsoft 365 contribution focused on OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams and Outlook within that wider programme.

From individual tools to a shared workflow.

Days one and two covered Reelae course creation, learning materials, assessments and student progress. Day three introduced Microsoft 365 workflows. On day four, provincial teams developed and delivered a complete course in a practical simulation.

  • OneDrive: create and store lesson materials.
  • SharePoint: review and manage shared resources.
  • Teams: collaborate and coordinate with colleagues.
  • Outlook: manage formal communication and reporting.

The teaching workflow linked these tools with Reelae for lesson delivery, giving each platform a clear role.

Practical learning, assessed.

The programme used five quizzes to assess knowledge, workflow decisions and simulation-based application.

Selected programme assessment results
AssessmentParticipants assessedAverage score
Microsoft 365 integration84Approximately 79–80%
Integration decision scenarios9377.6%
Simulation & facilitation7792.4%

These are results from different assessments within the combined Reelae LMS and Microsoft 365 programme; participant counts vary by quiz. They measure training performance, not a before-and-after improvement or a Microsoft certification.

Continued practice, connectivity and follow-up support remain important as participants take the learning back to their centres.
